Grant Applications
|
In September of each year CSET invites approximately 100 universities and colleges in the United Kingdom, which give qualifying law degrees to submit applications. In December, the Committee assesses the applications and decides on the year's grants. The total amount awarded is dependent on the funds available. For the 2009/10 academic year departments will be sent the application form and procedures in the first week of September. The deadline for applications will be the 30th October 2009. The application form, guidance procedure notes and general terms and payment procedures can also be downloaded from below. |
Since CSET started it has made grants to more than 60 universities, colleges and other bodies. About 80% of the grants have been spent directly on teaching staff. The maximum grant is normally 50-60% of the total costs of the member of staff in question and for a maximum of three years. These grants are normally made for two or three years. The other 20% has been committed as grants for books, technology and other support for teaching, typically by way of a one off lump sum. For further information contact administrator@cset.org.uk |
